Day 1 — Tuesday 1 December | Arrive in Banjul
Airport welcome and private transfer to Lemon Creek Hotel Resort. If daylight permits, enjoy an introductory photography walk nearby.

Day 2 — Tanji Bird Reserve & Brufut Woods
Explore woodland, scrub, forest-edge, coastal and wetland habitats, allowing time for bird photography and relaxed observation.

Day 3 — Into Senegal & the Saloum Delta
Cross the River Gambia and continue to Toubakouta, followed by an afternoon boat trip through the Saloum Delta’s mangroves.

Day 4 — Toubakouta & Scissor-tailed Kites
Photograph around Toubakouta, then visit the celebrated Scissor-tailed Kite feeding and roosting area.

Day 5 — Return to The Gambia
Travel to Morgan Kunda Lodge, stopping at productive wetlands, forests and open woodland.

Day 6 — Upriver to Janjanbureh
Journey through productive inland birding country and cross the River Gambia by ferry.

Day 7 — African Finfoot boat trips
Early river trip around Janjanbureh in search of African Finfoot, with a possible second outing later if needed.

Day 8 — Bansang, Kudang & Tendaba
Visit rice fields, the Red-throated Bee-eater colony at Bansang and Northern Carmine Bee-eaters at Kudang.

Day 9 — Tendaba creeks & photography hide
Morning boat trip through quiet mangrove creeks, followed by an afternoon in the Tendaba photography hide.

Day 10 — Kiang West National Park
Explore important raptor, savannah and woodland habitats, including the Tendaba airfield area.

Day 11 — Raptor Bridge & Killy hide
Return towards the coast with a main stop at Raptor Bridge, then visit Killy photography hide and woodland.

Day 12 — Marakissa, Penyem, Sifoe & Kitty
A full day among productive woodland and wetland habitats.

Day 13 — Tujereng Woods & Kartong Wetlands
Combine woodland and freshwater wetland photography, including the chance to see Black Heron canopy feeding.

Day 14 — Farasutu & surrounding forests
Early visit to Farasutu Community Forest and Mr Bah’s hide, followed by Madinaba, Faraba Banta and the Pirang/Bonto area.

Day 15 — Abuko, Lamin & Kotu Creek
Visit Abuko Nature Reserve, Lamin Rice Fields and Lamin Lodge, ending with a Kotu Creek boat session and photography hide.

Wednesday 16 December — Departure transfer
Private transfer from the hotel to Banjul International Airport according to your booked flight time.
