Your seven-day itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival and the coast
Private collection from Banjul Airport and transfer to Lemon Creek Hotel.
Day 2 — Brufut and Tanji
Bird Brufut Woods and Tanji Bird Reserve, with lunch at Ocean Lounge, Tanji.
Day 3 — Wetlands, hide photography and Kiang West
Visit Pirang Shrimp Farm, Killy photography hide, Kampanti Raptor Bridge and Kiang West National Park, then continue to Tendaba.
Day 4 — Tendaba creeks to Janjanbureh
Dawn mangrove-creek boat excursion from Tendaba; lunch and birding at Morgan Kunda; continue to Georgetown/Janjanbureh.
Day 5 — The inland birding circuit
Explore Sankulay; Bansang or Kunkilling; Jahaly–Pacharr; and Kudang, then travel west for a second night at Tendaba.
Day 6 — Bintang Bolong and Farasuto
Birding and lunch at Bintang Bolong, then Farasuto Forest and Mr Bah’s photography hide; return to the coast for the final night.
Day 7 — Abuko, Lamin and departure
Visit Abuko Nature Reserve; lunch at Lamin Lodge; bird Lamin Rice Fields and the Tanbi wetlands; private transfer to Banjul Airport.
